Description#

Rysy is the highest mountain in Poland and a frontier summit shared with Slovakia, above Morskie Oko and the Mengusovská valley. Its three tops make it a major hiking objective on both sides of the range.

Marked routes ascend from Morskie Oko in Poland or from Chata pod Rysmi in Slovakia. The Polish approach includes chains in steep ground, while the Slovak route is a long high-valley ascent.
