Description#
Ľadový Štít is one of the highest and most remote-looking granite summits in the High Tatras, above the Malá Studená dolina. Its name reflects the long-lasting snow and ice in its surrounding basins.
The usual mountaineering base is Téryho chata. The standard guided route reaches the summit via the upper saddles and ridge; the walls and ridges offer more technical alternatives.
