Description#
Ismoil Somoni Peak is the highest summit in Tajikistan and the Pamirs, and the highest of the five traditional Snow Leopard peaks. It rises above the Moskvina Meadow base-camp area.
The normal route is staged from Moskvina Meadow and follows the Borodkin ridge system through a sequence of high camps. It is a large expedition ascent with sustained altitude exposure.
