Description#
Ibn Sina Peak, widely known as Lenin Peak, is the most accessible of the traditional Snow Leopard summits on the Kyrgyz–Tajik frontier of the Trans-Alay. Its scale, rather than technical rock climbing, is its defining challenge.
The normal expedition route starts from the Achik-Tash base-camp area, proceeds through the established high camps and Razdelnaya, then follows broad upper snow slopes. It is a long glaciated ascent requiring careful acclimatisation.
No ascents logged yet.
