Nuvolau

Description#

Nuvolau is a small but exceptionally panoramic Dolomite summit above the Falzarego and Giau passes. Rifugio Nuvolau sits just below the top and is one of the range’s historic mountain huts.

The normal route follows marked paths from Passo Giau or the Cinque Torri–Averau area. It is a straightforward summit hike with extensive views of the surrounding Dolomite groups.
