Monte Mondeval

Description#

Monte Mondeval rises above the Mondeval basin near Passo Giau in the Dolomites. The area is also known for the important Mesolithic burial discovered in the basin below the mountain.

The normal hiking approaches come from Passo Giau or the Mondeval–Prendera side. It is a broad mountain day rather than a technical climbing objective.
