Kreuzspitze

Description#

Kreuzspitze is an Ötztal Alps summit above Vent, distinct from the Monte Rosa peaks that share its name. It is the local mountain of the Martin-Busch-Hütte and a popular high route without a glacier crossing in summer.

The normal ascent from the Martin-Busch-Hütte follows a marked route over scree and the upper ridge. It is also a well-known ski tour when snow conditions permit.
