Description#

Galdhøpiggen is Norway’s highest mountain, in Jotunheimen. It is normally approached as a high glacial hike rather than a technical summit climb.

The two common routes start from Juvasshytta, crossing Styggebreen with appropriate guidance, or from Spiterstulen via Svellnose. Both give a substantial mountain day despite the straightforward summit terrain.
