Description#
Dôme de Rochefort is a snowy summit on the frontier ridge between Dent du Géant and the Grandes Jorasses. It is a central point of the Rochefort ridge traverse.
Rifugio Torino is the usual base, with access across the Glacier du Géant and along the Aiguille de Rochefort ridge. The continuation toward Dent du Géant or the Jorasses is a serious exposed traverse.
