Description#
Aiguille du Jardin stands on the east ridge of Aiguille Verte above the Talèfre basin. It is one of the more technical four-thousanders of the Mont Blanc Group, with steep red-granite buttresses on its south side.
The Refuge du Couvercle is the usual base. The east-ridge traverse from Grande Rocheuse is a classic approach; the peak was first climbed in 1904 by Émile Fontaine with Jean Ravanel and Léon Tournier.
