Description#
Pointe Hélène is an eastern summit on the Grandes Jorasses ridge, above the glaciers of the French–Italian frontier. It is principally a point on high-level Jorasses traverses.
The traditional Italian base is Rifugio Boccalatte-Piolti. Reaching it with the neighbouring Jorasses summits requires sustained ridge climbing and complex descent planning.
