Description#
Punta Giordani is the lowest and most accessible four-thousander on Monte Rosa’s Italian side. It provides a useful glaciated introduction to the Gnifetti–Mantova hut system.
From Rifugio Mantova or Rifugio Gnifetti, the normal line crosses the Glacier del Garstelet and climbs the upper snow and rock slopes. It is often combined with Vincent Pyramid or Balmenhorn.
