Aiguille de Bionnassay

Description#

Aiguille de Bionnassay is the sharp frontier summit west of Mont Blanc, with an exceptionally elegant snow ridge. It forms part of the long high crest between the Miage basin and the Mont Blanc approaches.

The normal route follows the south ridge from the Durier Hut. The Dômes de Miage–Bionnassay traverse is a classic route that can continue to the Dôme du Goûter.
