Description#
Ober Gabelhorn is a striking summit between Zermatt and Zinal, opposite the Matterhorn. Its complicated ridges and high-quality rock have made it a classic Swiss climb.
The normal route is usually based at the Rothorn Hut and follows the Arbengrat after passing the Wellenkuppe. The north face and the Zinal ridge are substantial alternatives.
