Description#
Schreckhorn is the highest peak entirely in the Bernese Alps and one of their most demanding normal ascents. Its serrated ridges rise above the Unteraar and Grindelwald glaciers.
The normal route uses the Schreckhorn Hut and follows the south-east ridge. The north face and the Lauteraarhorn–Schreckhorn traverse are major serious alternatives.
No ascents logged yet.
