Description#
Grande Rocheuse stands on the east ridge of Aiguille Verte above the Talèfre basin. It is an important summit on a remote and technical section of the Mont Blanc Group.
The Refuge du Couvercle is the usual base. Grande Rocheuse is most often climbed on the ridge traverse toward Aiguille du Jardin and Aiguille Verte.
