Description#
Pointe Walker is the highest summit of the Grandes Jorasses and crowns the massif’s immense north face. The Walker Spur is one of the great historic north-face routes of the Alps.
The Italian normal approach is based at Rifugio Boccalatte-Piolti and reaches the summit ridge from the south. The Cassin Route on the Walker Spur is the defining technical line.
