Description#
Zinalrothorn is a sharp rock pyramid above Zinal and the Matter Valley, immediately recognisable for its summit ridges. It is a classic Swiss mixed climb rather than a glacier walk.
The normal route follows the north ridge from the Rothorn Hut. The Trift ridge and the east ridge are longer, serious alternatives.
