Description#
Castor is the western twin of Pollux on the Swiss–Italian frontier, above the Felik Glacier. Its elegant summit ridge is one of the best-known snow aretes in the Monte Rosa massif.
The normal route rises from Rifugio Quintino Sella to the Felikjoch, then follows the west ridge. Castor is often paired with Pollux in a traverse.
