Dôme du Goûter

Description#

The Dôme du Goûter is the broad snowy shoulder on Mont Blanc’s normal route, above the Goûter Hut. It is a major summit in its own right and a natural high point of the route from Saint-Gervais.

It is normally crossed from the Goûter Hut on the way to Mont Blanc. The Dômes de Miage–Aiguille de Bionnassay traverse provides a longer, more alpine approach to the dome.
