Description#
Grand Combin de Grafeneire is the highest summit of the Grand Combin massif, a formidable complex above the Val de Bagnes. Its vast north face and serac barriers dominate the approach from the Swiss side.
The traditional normal line is the Corridor from the Cabane de Valsorey; conditions on that route are decisive. The Meitin ridge and the Valsorey ridge are important alternatives, with the latter forming a major mixed climb.
