Description#
Parrotspitze lies on Monte Rosa’s high ridge near Signalkuppe, overlooking the Lys Glacier on the Italian side. It is a worthwhile component of the upper-massif traverse.
Rifugio Gnifetti or Rifugio Mantova are the normal bases, with access over the Lys Glacier and Colle del Lys. It is regularly linked with Signalkuppe, Ludwigshöhe and Zumsteinspitze.
