Description#
Dufourspitze is the highest summit of the Monte Rosa massif and of Switzerland, rising above the Grenzgletscher on the Swiss–Italian frontier. It is the focal point of the massif’s high summit ridge.
The standard route starts from the Monte Rosa Hut, crosses the upper glacier to the Silbersattel, then follows the west ridge. It is commonly combined with Nordend only on a much more demanding traverse.
No ascents logged yet.
